FAQ

Each piece is created by hand using a minimum of 80% repurposed leather. We make sustainable choices by using materials that are produced in a way that minimizes harm to the environment. All leather and feathers used in KHH designs are byproduct derived or re-purposed scraps. Leather is an organic material, slight imperfections in texture and color can be expected and contributes to the uniqueness of each design.

    • We accept PayPal and the following credit cards: Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express.

    • Orders are shipped within 1-3 business days. We will contact you with a follow-up email if the merchandise you have selected is not currently in stock or if we need additional identification provided for credit verification. We do not offer Saturday delivery. *DELIVERY TIME DOES NOT INCLUDE SATURDAYS SUNDAYS OR HOLIDAYS

    • You will receive an order confirmation once your order has been successfully transmitted. In addition, a shipping confirmation e-mail will be sent once your order has been shipped. This confirmation will include the tracking number for your package.

    • We ship all US orders via USPS Priority Mail. We ship all international orders via USPS First Class International Mail. Once orders are packed and shipped, Priority Mail packages typically take 3-5 days to arrive. International orders typically take 8-14 days to arrive. For Express shipping, please contact us through our contact form with the subject 'Express Shipping'.

    • I take pride in the craftmanship and fine detailing of my work. If there is a problem with your purchase please contact us within 7 days of receiving your item. There are NO refunds or exchanges on custom or sale items. To return or exchange an item, please contact us through our contact form with the subject 'Return' or 'Exchange Item' followed by your order number (ex. 'Exchange Item (#1234)'). We will refund any item(s), provided that the item(s) has not been damaged, soiled, washed, altered or worn and that all labels and tags are attached.

    • To cancel an order you placed, please contact us through our contact form with the subject 'Order Cancelation' followed by your order number (ex. 'Order Cancelation (#1234)'). To edit an order you placed, please contact us through our contact form with the subject 'Order Edit' followed by your order number (ex. 'Order Edit (#1234)').

    • All payments accepted on the site are processed by PayPal, and as such, your information is protected by SSL with an encryption key length of 128 bits (the highest level commercially available).

    • Before signing up for a workshop there are a few things you should know. If you register for a class you're agreeing to the following:

      CLASS REGISTRATION
      Due to very limited space, class fees are nonrefundable and nontransferable. Please note when you sign up for a class, you're registering for a spot in that particular class, on that date only, with no exceptions. It doesn't happen often, but if we have to postpone a session, we will notify you and offer a makeup session or a gift certificate.

      MATERIAL FEES
      Material fees are not included in the class registration. Material fees are to be paid the day of the workshop by cash or credit card. The material fees vary by workshop and are listed in the course description.

      STUDIO SAFETY
      Kelly Horrigan Handmade is not responsible for injuries sustained as a result of improper or careless use of studio tools or equipment. Students must sign a waiver to participate. Students age 16 years and up are welcome but must have a guardian present to sign the waiver.

      All workshops are taught by Kelly Horrigan in the KHH Studio at 309 Kosciusko St, Suite 6, Brooklyn, NY 11221. Classes start promptly and we ask students to arrive 15 minutes early to get settled.
